It's now week 8. The GDD has been finalized and production has started finally. Yay!
Below are some of our productions.
Top View of the Puzzle Buildings
2nd part of 2nd challenge - House Escape! - This house is used for the 2nd challenge. The players have to figure out how they are going to get the URL address from this challenge without getting kicked out of the house. Heber will be doing the scripts, Lynette did most of the furniture and I design the gameplay of this challenge and created some furniture as well.
1st part of 1st challenge - Puzzle circuit - This puzzle circuit will be used in the 1st challenge. The players will arrange the puzzle circuits to form a continuous flow of the wires and having the specific 4 corner pieces in place.
Well, thats about it for now. There will be more since today is tuesday. :)

This is week 6 and there's a presentation on Wednesday. We are finalizing the GDD and the presentation slides.
On my side, I will continue to work on the boss' blog as the it has to have some early posts before the beta test period. Here is the link to the boss' blog - http://vdc-wwb.blogspot.com
After much trying and research, I have been restricted to follow what blogger can do rather than changing the whole layout. Some features which I wanted to be in the blog can't be displayed. I'll be changing the background pictures, so this is not the final site.
We have also set up a forum for our game. Here is the link - http://vanda.freeforums.org/
Please ignore the bottles picture. It was to test whether a banner can be input.

Forgot to post this picture last week.
This is the information booth concept in Second Life. It will rotate after the script is put into it so that it won't look static. It also has a touch for more information ability in it.
These are some of the concepts for the press room. There have been a few changes made since last week. I have did some research and it has shown a few designs that could match with the whole theme. Below are the structures I have done in Second Life.
The red colored object is an alarm that acts like a question queue. It gives more like a press conference feel. This is a more orderly manner in ARG platforms.
I will be touching on the Boss's blog this week.

PRM108 - Fundamentals of Prims - Techniques II @ RUSLC
This class covers methods of working with multiple prims
Argh. We forgot to screenshot the 1st class! But we were there!
I swear! Anyways. Here's the 10 am class.
The presentation stuff had some problems and our nice teacher gave us L$30 for buying textbooks. Which.. in the end were of no use as the slides were working again!
We should have saved that 30 bucks...
Featured in the screenshot here, the three lovely DMD students!! XD
Wenlong, Eugene and myself =D
I'll just label as ARG as most of us (2) are from the ARG group.

On behalf of my team, im blogging our Scavenger Hunt:
4.) our own pet dragons!
5.) Nintendo shop huh!?
6.) Playing SLingo!!
7.) wahoo, nice view!
10.) nice tulip!Damien: the pros of SL is that the virtual world is built and ran by the players itself rather then programmers and designers deciding it. all the programmers and designers need to do is to provide the necessary tools for the users to have a hands-on in building the shapes in the virtual world. i would say that this is quite intriguing.
but the cons of this game is that you may have to have a powerful computer and high boardband width to truly join the game. not only that, contents built and created by users arent really controlled and censored. hence, once in awhile we might stumbled onto a island that is more of a adult content.

jason's mid-week 8 update
A retired army general with no nameI also finished up the web stuff. Also, due to some restrictions (31 maximum primitives for an object to allow physical), i had to reduce some of the prim count for the accerssories and did some new textures to compensate.

Update of the Week. We have our land and so i decided to be a designer for a while.
I created a Waterfall with Scripts and Particle effects which i will continue to improve whenever I have mental block to my scripts. I also created a auto sliding door script for the main building. I also explode the use of changing texture and its offset using scripts as rena had discovered that using tiled textures made the texture look very pixelated. I will be working on the airship tour ,the clues and many others scripts that may come on my way.

Currently, I'm working on the blog design too. But, I'm kind of stuck with the main design. Will get it done soon too.
These are sketches of 2 capes and 3 fish cuisine. I plan to use oriental fabric texture for the panda's winter wear, so as to make them look more oriental. To make it more oriental, probably we can use cape instead of something like a shirt, because in those "ancient chinese drama" shows, we see the men and women donning on a cape when it's supposed to be cold. I've also included some oriental fabric pictures. The 3 food is because the fish nugget may not work, so I have these 3 fish and bamboo dishes.
