Kazaf and ARG

Define Alternate Reality Gaming (ARG)

An alternate reality game (ARG) is an interactive narrative that uses the real world as a platform, often involving multiple media and game elements, to tell a story that may be affected by participants' ideas or actions.

Fair Enough, however at the very same page,

"There is a great deal of debate about how to define the term "alternate reality game" and what should be included or excluded by the definition. Unfiction founder Sean Stacey has suggested that the best way to define the genre was not to define it, and instead locate each game on three axes (ruleset, authorship and coherence) in a sphere of "chaotic fiction" that would include works such as the Uncyclopedia and street games like SF0 as well."

That was from an article from this website which produce many article about ARG.

A extract from http://www.giantmice.com/arg-defined/

This is a question that has plagued the designers, players, and those interested in them since the start. I won’t mislead you, there is no exact definition. Everyone has their own ideas and most just “know it when they see it.”

so What is an ARG, it is up to oneself to decide but THIS IS NOT A GAME .....
